This Is Just To Say – W C Williams
I have eaten the plums that were in the icebox and which you were probably saving for breakfast Forgive me they were delicious so sweet and so cold round. William James described, "consciousness ..[that] does not appear to itself as chopped up in bits ... it is nothing joined; it flows. A 'river' or a 'stream' are the metaphors by which it is most naturally described. In talking of it hereafter, let's call it the stream of thought, consciousness, or subjective life."
Those who have thought about perception/subjectivity probably have realised that thoughts are merely words or images, based on symbols we have been taught or that we have learnt to associate them with. E.G. straight, joining pattern of pixels/dots on a paper = a line.
But although there certainly is Truth to be discovered, and there are facts.
The stream of subjective life presented here is only my opinion.
I am not blatantly advocating for any religion, dogma, ethnic or “disability” group.
I merely present my self – It would not be possible for me to speak for any other person, even IF I had permission
Well, Perhaps, somehow, if I whisper into the void, Someone or Something will eventually hear me.
